I should also add the Macs are remote so I don't have easy access to the USB to plug in and out, but I do have a Synology NAS on the LAN so I'm currently trying to copy everything there as a staging server. I want something simple that just copies all files once then any newer ones without any worry - so I can get rid of the old Mac!Īs per my other recent post, I can't see all the files on the old Mac from the new Mac even though I have changed permissions on all files - so I want something to run on the old server for a few days to make sure I get all the latest files before switching.
